Data Integrity

All your data is treated with the same high standard.

We treat all data entered into your system the same, irrespective of single items through front end UI or terabyte transfers. The permission, custom or system validations, business actions, permission and auditing are all applied to the data as it is imported. This ensures you’re maintaining your data security and integrity from the beginning, removing consistency issues in the future.

We adapt to your systems

We understand existing software require highly specific data exports from their proprietary systems. We also understand there are significant benefits and requirements to manipulating your data as it integrates. This may be from one system, multiple systems in sequential or set orders. We provide the tools to enable you to build this into your structure.

Our data mappers are designed to:

  • Allow variants for multiple input sources;

  • Configure the format of the data and directly map to the LemonEdge platform;

  • Allocate specific keys for data;

  • Customised formulas for processing on any field, including fields not provided by the import file.

Procedural Data Integration

Making your data work harder

It is often the case that importing data requires several connected steps. It is not just as simple as importing flat files one after another. To this end, LemonEdge has Import Definitions that allow you to set up a sequence of steps that the system can process to import sets of data.

 

The options when importing are as follows:

Import Sequentially

Import Sequentially This imports each record individually
in sequential order, logging but continuing to post any errors.

Import Client

This imports the individual records on the client only and opens
the pending changes, without being committed. So they can
be viewed manually by the end-user before saving and continuing.

Import Batch

This imports each record individually in sequential order,
but only commits the creation, update, delete of all records as
a batch transaction at the end.

Validate Only

This runs the import and validates all the items,
but does not actually update, delete or create any records.
It simply shows whether doing so would have failed

 

In addition to Import Definitions, we also have the Admin Console, which lets you script any
action you can take in the UI through commands.

 

Tailored Export

Get to your data in the way you need

LemonEdge gives easy access and the ability to query your data, including history and sandboxes. Other systems can interface to these using the following methods:

  • Queries can be exported into predefined Excel templates for specific ETL templates;

  • Queries also create human-readable functions in SQL for other solutions to directly connect;

  • Queries can also be called, and queried, through our Rest/OData Web Service;
